Vital Expression
farmer poems soldier poems Gertrude Stein
poems let people express feelings thoughts
expression as vital as impressions otherwise
blocked alone flat world empty of meanings
so I am glad to do poetry festival errands
chores drive around keep books write talk
meet interesting people this modest world
no simpler inside family elements seasons
