Fluff Balls
Jane Jacobs my kind of life exposed
dishonest mask of pretended order
lifelong war on dandelions no way win
poisoned they frantically make seeds
even as leaves shrivel white fluff balls
rise above lengthening grass or twist
groundward Dad had me dig them
from the lawn special tool deep root
weedmaster only encourages them
I prowl lean down grab seed heads
stuff plastic bag hold back hordes
