Easter Morning
what I'm saying is there's a life beyond this
and these things are not the most important

and then I came upon the sea
wide, dark orange, serene
the palest blue
where people stood in awe
gazing at the wide horizon
and sat upon the grassy banks
as ships plied forth the Rio Plata
on errands to the far unseen
