personally ever optimistic
worried ever more about the world
worrying ever since the sixties
turn
we must turn again
remember revive progressive ideals
fairness justice civil rights necessarily
redistribute wealth
greed has no place sure no respect
disarm
weapons only harm
cry for the lost the suffering
in the new year
