starting to hate the modern world
not such a good idea even people
who can't help living as they do
partake of the available as it is
participate in the rapid ruination
everything we hold dear succumbs
to the might of dollars even now
as they lose their value vulgarity
at the top symbolizes our decay
the old ideal of beauty forgotten
kindness generosity welcoming
spirit hope for the future broken
even the best bought off helpless
as humanity digs its sorry grave
