real is what it is now
no matter what we had in mind

imagining an entirely different basis
this is the natural order
however distorted it seems to us
this can't be right
evidently it is
all there is
after the consequences are revealed
how will it all work out
more or less as we always knew
life stages flowing
counting down
flourishing
becoming becoming having been
