Narrow Passages

when people are driving in a car zipping around Paris for example in a movie I keep expecting them to crash you can't see much why not it's supposed to be dramatic mostly they don't like real life we usually get to where we're going and come back safe knock wood but isn't it surprising such speed narrow passages close escapes
