Among Cousins
meaningless mayhem neutralized
by harmony perhaps a quiet word
exhanged among cousins missing
meals unimagined hardships who
can excuse our impermeable cool
what passes for comfort dries our
tears heals all wounds imperfectly
fast like seasons changing clothes
like imaginary fortunes lost amid
starry fields eager to grow weeds
