Saved Up
that Mendelssohn trio ideally played too much
for me at the best of times immediate present
barring moments illness may they quickly pass
hidden morsels of chocolate emerge betimes a
comfort saved up against eventual need lost
control environmental degradation phase out
that phrase lingers resolves falls into motion
ardor warmly unfolds notes demand another
perfectly composed why not admit it all fits
