promise of flowers redeems chilly days
greengrocer's stage stock real potatoes
season changes if I match its slowness
will I be rewarded dreaming after death
feet like paddles forbid rough questions
the subject elusive but wordings exact
enigmatic signifier blameless imagined
youth once again finding possible lives
